It's my 5th year in Ford . . . .

Today is my 5th year in Ford. Happy anniversary to me! How time flies to fast. I could still reminisce my first days in Ford. I was still single then but about to get married by December. Nobody knew it until I discreetly informed my supervisor. My colleagues knew it in a funny funny way. I think it was November already when they discovered I was getting married. How? I set up a reminder on my cellphone for my gown fitting. I left my cellphone on my desk and was in another desk. A cellphone was beeping and beeping. Nobody was claiming it was their cellphone including myself. I know my standard message and ringing tone but not the alarm on my calendar. So, a colleague of mine was standing in my desk and read the alarm on my phone. From then on they were already teasing me and all. Hay, just one of the funny moments here at work.

Ford has been my longest employer for the past 10 years. I can say that I'm so happy and satisfied with my stay although I must admit that there were times in between that I would look for better opportunities. Nevertheless, I'm still here celebrating my fifth year already and looking forward for the coming years . . .

What a Friday ! ! !

Yesterday was indeed s stressful day for me but today is worse. It's almost 9pm and I'm still here in the office working to think it's a Friday night. Everybody went home early except me. Poor me . (: I'm so tired and sleepy already! I hope to have a good sleep tonight so that it'll compensate for my lack of sleep for the past few days.

Tomorrow will be Kaila's card giving. I'm so excited to see the results of her first quarterly exam as well as her report card. I hope she passed all her subjects with flying colors (just like mommy) ha ha ha . . .

Another stressful day?

When I opened up my email this morning, it seems that I have a lot of tasks to do with so much time. It's still the last day of the month end close plus a lot of other reports needed by the management. Hope to finish all of these on time! Good luck to me . . .

Wanna have some break . . .

Hay, it's the first working day of the week and I'm here at the office rendering overtime. I miss the two kids especially coming in from a long weekend. Hubby texted me this morning and told me that JM was awakened and was looking for me. Knowing I'm not by his side, JM cried. All the more that I miss him. JM is very active and naughty as I may say but he has this charisma that melts our heart away. He has this smile that would take away all your anger. Hubby and I were talking last night and I jokingly told him that if JM was a baby girl he would have been prettier than Kaila. Hubby on the other hand agreed. JM's face is very angelic. His eyes are very special. We always get comments from other people that both kids have a very nice eyes. Hmmm, i'm missing them more. Anyway, I'll be going home in a little while.

Late Night Work on a Friday . . .

I just got back from our Finance outing in Canyon Cove in Batangas. And guess where I am? I'm right here in my office desk and trying my best to convince myself to work. I have endless tasks that needs to be done today. I'm not yet sure if I'll be on leave on Monday. It will depend on the outcome of our school visit tomorrow. Enrolling Kaila for summer is indefinite at the moment. I'll just post an update next week.

Hay, I'm so tired and sleepy already. I can already feel the muscle pain in my arms and legs from swimming most of the time during our outing. I'll post the pictures next week. I forgot to bring the keys for my drawer so I don't have the USB cable to download the pictures already.

I hope I can finish all my deadlines tonight so that whatever decision we'll have over the weekend I can go on a leave anytime on Monday.

Another lazy Monday . . .

It's another lazy Monday! It was not a long weekend though but still I'm not in the mood for work. It's going to be a busy week for sure since it's our month-end close once again and forecast submission next week. Next week will be hectic as well since Monday is a holiday and Friday is our Finance outing. So, it's going to be 3 day workweek next week. Need to squeeze in the workload on those three days.

Hay, what's up with me over the weekend? Well, Kaila has not fully recovered yet from her tonsilitis and she has cough and cold now. JM also had a high fever over the weekend and he has cough and cold as well. Maybe it's due to the super hot weather. Hubby and I were thinking of buying another aircon since the aircon in our bedroom might be overused if the kids will use it during the day. Well, lets just see if the kids will be able to cope up with the weather.

Last Saturday, we were in my parents house in Canlubang to celebrate the birthday of my lola and my BIL. We were there just in time for lunch. It was only my Uncle and his wife from Pasig who were there. My other Uncle from Las Piñas only arrived way past 1pm already. A cousin of my mom from Cavite also arrived. There were other kids in the house so Kai, JM and Wacks enjoyed the day since they have new playmates for the day.

Lola was so happy to see many of his relatives. Everybody would be laughing everytime Lola would give her comments on something. It was a game if she would recognize who is she talking to. For some she still recognize them but for a few she didn't recognize already. Of course the highlight of the day was the candle blowing. They were teasing her to make her wish for long life. My other uncle jokingly told her that's she's overstaying already so no need to wish for long life. Well, 89 years old is such a long journey already. And we are anticipating that she still has a long way to go since she's healthy for her age except for her hearing. More birthdays to come Lola!
