Happy and Sad . . .

Why? I got a text message from my mom yesterday informing me that their visa for Canada was already approved. I'm happy for them because finally, they got it after so many years of waiting ang processing. Of course I'm sad because we will miss them. I already told Kaila last night and she said she will be sad. My mom, dad and my youngest sister has to leave and land in Canada on or before February 16, 2009. They don't have the final plans yet as to when they will leave. Hay, time for us to move on. At least for now, I can proceed with our application since I know that somebody will be taking care of the kids if and when we get there.

An alternative to Photo Albums . . .

Are you one of those mommies who never gets tired of taking pictures of your babies? Do you ever get to organize all your pictures? Or your pictures are all stored in your CD's and memory cards?

Now, I found an alternative and unique way to make use of our pictures. With Vision Bedding they can turn these pictures into useful items and unique home decors. They have photo blankets, decorative photo pillows, photo dog beddings and many other personalized photo gifts.

It is also a wonderful gift idea since it is personalized the recipient will appreciate it more cause you really took the time to give something extraordinary.

These unique home decors will surely be a hit to mommies like me. It is somehow a work of art at the same time you showcase the wonderful pictures you have taken be it you baby or your favorite site. So, bring out all your pictures and turn them into these unique work of art.

A Good / Sad News ! ! !

I just got a text from my mom informing me that they have received a letter from the Canadian Embassy requesting them for some updates on their documents and they are already requested to undergo their physical examination within 60 days from the date of the letter. So, most probably they'll have their visa within the year and they might leave as well this year. Hu hu hu . . . (: Sad news for us especially for the kids since they'll miss lolo and lola a lot. On the lighter side, of course that would be for their own good especially for their age since medical facilities and benefits are way far better than here. They'll be leaving with my youngest sister so she'll have a better opportunity there in terms of education. Sigh . . . We better start fixing our documents so that we can proceed with this long overdue plan of applying as immigrant in Canada. It'll take 5 years of processing so better submit it as soon as we can.

A hectic week had passed . . .

It has been a week since my last post. I was very busy with work that I can't afford to update my blog. I miss blogging! Hopefully the next few days will be lighter. Tomorrow is our Finance Christmas party already. At least a break from all the work loads for the past few weeks. I've been staying late in the office for the last two weeks. I feel that I'm missing a lot with my kids. They are asleep already every time I arrive home from work. I'm really looking forward to the long Christmas vacation . . .

A weekend in St. James Bazaar . . .

Last Nov. 30, hubby took it a day off from work since it's a special day for us as well. We decided to go to Alabang with the kids and of course my mom & dad and my other nephew. So we have 3 toddlers in tow that day. We had our groceries first in Makati Supermarket and had our lunch in the ATC foodcourt ( Reyes BBQ ).

After lunch, we went strolling around ATC for a while. Hubby bought me a Havaianas flip flops. I was jokingly asking him if it was his Christmas gift already. :) Of course it's not! The kids were playing around in the lounge area. They were all running, screaming and jumping around. It was around 2pm when we decided to proceed to the St. James Bazaar in Ayala Alabang Village.

It was nearly 3pm when we got to the place already. It was quite a traffic from ATC going to AAV. Plus parking was difficult as well. It was a long walk from our parking place to the bazaar proper. The kids were asleep when we arrived so it was me, hubby and my youngest sister who first went around. I just told our yaya to call us once the kids are awake.

I've seen quite a number of good buys but I didn't buy first. I want to canvass more and get the best deal. The only thing I bought right away is the Baby Couture Bag. Since we are still using the baby bag of Kaila I think it was just time to buy a new one. We were going around when we were informed that the kids are awake already. We told them to go and we'll meet halfway.

We brought the kids to the playground and they enjoyed playing especially in the slide. I asked my mom if she wants to go around but she don't want. After their playtime, my mom and my nephew just went back to the car since my mom doesn't want to go around with my nephew in tow. We went around with the two kids. We were looking clothes for them but we didn't find good buys unlike last year. The clothes for the kids are much more expensive than those in Greenhills. After a while, we just decided to have our snack since it's difficult to go around with the kids. Kawawa naman yung may karga since hindi nila binaba yung stroller nung mga kids.

Hubby bought us some Yellow Cab pizza and we were so full after. After eating, we decided to call the day off since we are all tired already. We just bought mom & dad some merienda and we went back to the car already. My nephew was already having tantrums and I didn't see the text from my mom asking us to come back already.

Whew! It's really tiring to go out with both the kids in tow. It is indeed a challenge! This is the reason why we are delaying our supposed to be HK trip in January. Hubby wants JM to grow up some more and have the maturity of Kaila at that age.

Anyway, this is it for now . . .

My happiness . . .

At this point of my life, I can say that I have found my true happiness. I am married to a wonderful man who is loving me more than anything else. He is always after my welfare and ensures that I am happy and contented. He is a good provider to our family especially to the kids. He never forgets to bring in "pasalubong" that's why the kids know that if something is missing in the house it will be daddy who will provide.

We will be celebrating our 4th year anniversary as husband and wife on the 30th of December. How time flies so fast . . . But as a couple this is our 11th year already. Whew! This is an achievement already. We've come this far and we're looking forward for more years of togetherness.

My daughter Mikaila Juliane has just turned three years old. She is a very sweet girl. Never fails to say "thank you", "sorry", "sweet dreams" and "i love you". She is also very caring to her younger brother though at times they do fight which I find it normal among siblings especially at their age.

Kai as what we call her never fails to get the attention of others everytime we go out. She has a very fair complexion with very long hair. We've never cut her hair since birth. People would always commend that she's such a cute girl. Of course we are very proud of her not just by her physical attributes but her intelligence as well. She knows the alphabet, numbers, colors, animals and a lot of other stuffs.

I really enjoy talking to her bacause I talk to her as an adult now. I get to learn things from her as well.

Our second born, Justin Mikhail, is such an active boy. Like her big sister, he always get comments from people that he's so handsome. Though when he was young people thought that he's a girl because of his long hair.

JM is also very sweet. He is the baby of the family. I really like it a lot when I put him to sleep in my arms. Yes! I still carry him like a baby though he hates it now. I can only do this when he's so sleepy already.

JM has the killer smile that can melt your heart away. This is one of his best asset. He knows when to give you that smile. So no matter how mad you may be it simply goes away. Waking up early on a weekend is very difficult but the sight of JM's smile would start the day right.

I can go on and on and on enumerating their qualities that makes me so happy. I will just end up here first and you'll get to know me more on my next posts . . .
