Looking forward to the long holidays . . .
Yipee! It's the last day of work for 2007. We ended up eating our lunch at 1:30pm. What a way to end the year! We're supposed to have a short meeting with our Finance Director at around 11:30am but the meeting went on and on and on . . .
Anyway, it's the last day of work so right after the meeting we had our lunch ( a take out from yellow cab ). My other officemates went ahead of us in yellow cab but we ended up eating our lunch here in the office. We just went out to have our coffee in Starbucks after since most of them are completing their stickers for the 2008 planner.
I still have a few more issues to settle but I can't focus on work anymore! Let's reserve all of these for January 2008 . . .
Happy holidays to all of you! Looking forward to a better year in 2008.

We are watching Disney On Ice ! ! !
Finally, I can say that we are watching Disney on Ice! Hubby got hold of our tickets last week. We'll be watching the 4:30pm show on January 19, 2008. We are seated on the upper box A portion ( UA 301 Row B Seat 1 to 4 ). We are watching with the two kids and one yaya. We assume that JM won't be 3 feet tall by that time so we did not buy him a ticket though. Just in case, we'll just use yaya's ticket ( he he he . . . )
Hubby and I are excited for the kids. I hope they would enjoy the show. Hubby and I on the other hand are also planning a gimik after. he he he . . . I hope the kids will sleep early as we are planning to stay overnight in Ortigas area.

Ford Finance-IT Christmas Party 2007
The Finance-IT Christmas Party of Ford Philippines was held last Wednesday, December 12 in our Director's residence in Ayala Alabang Village. The department was divided into three teams ( red, yellow & green ) and each will have a presentation. Everybody came in prepared with their own gimiks. Our food was catered by Queensland though our hostess prepared some Indian cuisine as well.
It was indeed a night of fun, laughter, food and entertainment . . . I can say that in my five Christmas parties in Ford this is the best so far . . . Here are some pictures :
Shopping Update . . .
Last Saturday, hubby and I went to Greenhills for our last batch of Christmas shopping ( so, I thought ). We arrived there just in time for the afternoon mass so we were very hungry already after the mass. We ate in RACKS ( yummy, yummy, yummy ! ! ! ) my favorite baby back ribs. We headed in the tiangge right after we had our lunch. We bought the gift for my nephew and some of Philip's inaanaks. Then we bought clothes for the kids and a new jeans and blouse for me.
After Greenhills, we went to Glorietta. We went to Toy Kingdom to look for "Santa's gift" for JM. We can't think of any other toy but a remote controlled car. For Kaila, it's a Disney Princess rubber shoes. That's what she's asking Santa. After the quick shopping in Glorietta, we went home already. It was another tiring day but I enjoyed it.

A hectic week had passed . . .
It has been a week since my last post. I was very busy with work that I can't afford to update my blog. I miss blogging! Hopefully the next few days will be lighter. Tomorrow is our Finance Christmas party already. At least a break from all the work loads for the past few weeks. I've been staying late in the office for the last two weeks. I feel that I'm missing a lot with my kids. They are asleep already every time I arrive home from work. I'm really looking forward to the long Christmas vacation . . .

A weekend in St. James Bazaar . . .
Last Nov. 30, hubby took it a day off from work since it's a special day for us as well. We decided to go to Alabang with the kids and of course my mom & dad and my other nephew. So we have 3 toddlers in tow that day. We had our groceries first in Makati Supermarket and had our lunch in the ATC foodcourt ( Reyes BBQ ).
After lunch, we went strolling around ATC for a while. Hubby bought me a Havaianas flip flops. I was jokingly asking him if it was his Christmas gift already. :) Of course it's not! The kids were playing around in the lounge area. They were all running, screaming and jumping around. It was around 2pm when we decided to proceed to the St. James Bazaar in Ayala Alabang Village.
It was nearly 3pm when we got to the place already. It was quite a traffic from ATC going to AAV. Plus parking was difficult as well. It was a long walk from our parking place to the bazaar proper. The kids were asleep when we arrived so it was me, hubby and my youngest sister who first went around. I just told our yaya to call us once the kids are awake.
I've seen quite a number of good buys but I didn't buy first. I want to canvass more and get the best deal. The only thing I bought right away is the Baby Couture Bag. Since we are still using the baby bag of Kaila I think it was just time to buy a new one. We were going around when we were informed that the kids are awake already. We told them to go and we'll meet halfway.
We brought the kids to the playground and they enjoyed playing especially in the slide. I asked my mom if she wants to go around but she don't want. After their playtime, my mom and my nephew just went back to the car since my mom doesn't want to go around with my nephew in tow. We went around with the two kids. We were looking clothes for them but we didn't find good buys unlike last year. The clothes for the kids are much more expensive than those in Greenhills. After a while, we just decided to have our snack since it's difficult to go around with the kids. Kawawa naman yung may karga since hindi nila binaba yung stroller nung mga kids.
Hubby bought us some Yellow Cab pizza and we were so full after. After eating, we decided to call the day off since we are all tired already. We just bought mom & dad some merienda and we went back to the car already. My nephew was already having tantrums and I didn't see the text from my mom asking us to come back already.
Whew! It's really tiring to go out with both the kids in tow. It is indeed a challenge! This is the reason why we are delaying our supposed to be HK trip in January. Hubby wants JM to grow up some more and have the maturity of Kaila at that age.
Anyway, this is it for now . . .

Question from Jenny . . .
How about you, ladies? What's your Christmas Day schedule?
Ummm??? We don't have any specific plans yet. It's either we go together with my parents to Las PiƱas and Cavite to visit our relatives and distribute our gifts to my inaanaks or we just stay in the house and let the relatives visit us. We don't go to the ninongs and ninangs of the kids. Most of them are officemates so they just send the gifts to the kids.
Thanks Jenny for the question! I think we need to finalize the plans for Christmas. We really haven't talked about it yet.

DISNEY ON ICE IN MANILA
We were reading the usual Sunday papers yesterday when Kaila was shouting " Mickey Mouse, mickey mouse! " She would usually say it aloud whenever she recognizes anything from the papers. So I thought it was just one of those logos. When I looked at it closely it was Disney on Ice in Manila. I got so excited! I was able to watch one of those shows when I was young. I can't remember what is was actually but as far as I remember I enjoyed it so much!
So, I want the two kids to experience it as well. I immediately told hubby that I want to bring the two kids to the show ( since we are delaying the HK trip we were planning ). He immediately said yes cause he knows it wouldn't be that difficult for us since we can bring in the yayas.
I told Kaila that we will be going. She keeps on telling JM that we are watching the show. Nakakatuwa sila tingnan. I can see the excitement in Kaila whenever she talks to JM. JM on the other hand doesn't mind it at all. Deadma pa sya. He he he . . . .
