It's a long weekend for me. . .

I'll be on vacation leave already tomorrow. It's my mom's 58th birthday tomorrow. We'll be spending the weekend in my parents' house in Canlubang. It's going to be the last few weekends that we'll be together as a complete family here. It's just more than a month before they leave for Canada. (:

Christmas Shopping Update . . .

We already have our first batch of gifts for the kids this Christmas. After our dinner in Crustacia last Friday we went malling in ATC. We went at the toy section of Rustan's to see if there will be good buys for the kids. True enough we were able to buy Kaila's kitchen play set and a remote controlled car for JM. These toys are on top of their Christmas wishlist for this year. I'm also done buying gifts for Kaila's classmates and my officemates' kids. Early Christmas shopping? Well, I hope we'll finish early cause we might have started early but we might end up doing some last minute Christmas shopping.

Trick or Treat '08 . . .

Last Saturday, October 26, was St. John's Wort Halloween Party. The two kids participated in the activities and both of them enjoyed the party so much. We too were very happy since it was their first time to have a trick or treat experience . . .

Hubby has been craving for seafoods lately. Last Friday, he called me up and asked me if I'll be going home early. I told him if he'll treat me out then I can go home early. :) He said he saw an ad in the newspaper for the buffet in Crustasia. He wants crabs, crabs, crabs . . . So, we decided to meet in ATC after office since we're off by 4pm every Friday. We were in ATC past 5pm. We went to see the menu in Crustasia and the buffet was not available in ATC yet. We went around for a while to see if there were other buffets with crabs. But we still ended up in Crustasia. We ordered their "by the bucket" and we asked them to cook it as Singaporean Chili Crab style. We just ordered Yang Chow fried rice and we were so full after. Hubby's cravings was very much satisfied. He wants to go back there to have more crabs . . .

Halloween Costumes . . .

We went to SM over the weekend and bought the kids their costumes for the Halloween party this weekend in Kaila's school. We are all excited for the two kids since it will be their first trick or treat experience. How would they look on their costumes? Cuties! ! !

It's my anniversary . . .

It's been a year already since I posted my very first blog. I lot of things have happened for the past year and most of them are accounted in this blog. Thanks for all the mommy bloggers who have inspired me to have my own blog. I used to visit other blogs and never thought that I'll have my own. I'm so happy that I get to share my experiences, good or bad, and I get to learn from the experiences of others as well. Blogging is not just an expression but it keeps me connected to friends in the past and friends whom I haven't seen yet as of this time. Thank you to all of you who keeps on visiting my site and I'm looking forward for another year as I journey into this wonderful life of mine and my family.

Kaila's 4th Birthday Celebration . . .

Our little princess has turned 4 years old last October 9. We just had a simple celebration with her classmates. We ordered food from Jollibee and bought her a Dora cake from Goldilocks. We bought party hats in Divisoria but I was not able to find a Dora themed hat. Kaila gave her classmates Dora stickers instead of candy loot bags. Here are some of the pictures :

The celebration was simple but we know that Kaila was so happy that day. She was thanking us that night before we slept. She keeps on hugging and kissing me. I can really feel that she was so happy for her birthday.

First Christmas Shopping in '08 . . .

Two weekends ago, we had our first Christmas shopping already. Hubby and I went to Divisoria together with my mom since we were in Canlubang that weekend. We just bought some ornaments and the angel top for our Christmas tree. We also bought some stuffs for Kaila's birthday celebration. My mom on the otherhand, bought a lot of bags and other stuffs she'll be bringing in Canada as pasalubong to friends. It was just a quick shopping experience especially with my mom in tow. We were back home a little after 1pm. We are planning to go back there any day from now. Hopefully on a weekday so that it wouldn't be as crowded as it is on a weekend.

Our latest Purchase . . .

Three weeks ago, we already bought our own PC. This was after the first time I stayed until 4am in the office to finish some tasks. Hubby told me to work at home instead of staying too late in the office. But it's difficult to work at home specially when the kids are around. Anyway, hubby and the kids are enjoying the games so far. We are now on the search for the best internet provider in the area. We have inquired with Smart and Globe with their broadband promos but I'm not satisfied with the speed they are offering. We are now eyeing either PLDT MyDSL or Digitel. Any comments and suggestions?

I've been out for more than a week. I was so busy with work! ! ! So busy is an understatement I guess . . . ha ha ha . . . So many things have to be blogged about. Well, I'm starting the week with this simple blog so I hope I'll be able to blog as much as I can. I'll be posting more updates about me, my work and my family. :)
