Should we or should we not ? ? ?

The vacant lot beside our house is up for sale. Hubby and I would talk about it once in a while if we should buy it or not. Of course I would love to buy that extra 80sqm so that we can have an extension or sort of renovation of our house. But of course we should be considering a lot of factors plus we must prioritize our purchases nowadays. As I previously mentioned in my earlier posts, we might be having a car loan to purchase the car of my parents by the time they leave the country. There's also our existing housing loan with BDO and other financial obligations which should be taken into consideration.

But thinking of all the possibilities once we purchase the vacant lot creates an excitement and anticipation of a lot of things. Will it be an additional room for the kids, or a nice spacious garden, a veranda in the second floor and all sorts of stuffs. Should we find a good mortgage loan then all these stuffs can come true. I'm just hoping that hubby's promotion will happen soon and he'll get a good deal with his salary increase.

E-Ticket Cancellation . . .

I was able to call up the Cebu Pacific hotline this afternoon. I was calling the wrong number since this morning but it also took me some time before I got to talk to a customer service representative. It was just easy. I told the reference number and the CSR on the other line got the flight details instantly. This cancellation is for my yaya's ticket since she can't join us in our HK trip. The CSR was typing on the other end while I waited for about 3 to 5 minutes before she got back again on the phone. She confirmed that our booking was cancelled already and it will just be credited back to my credit card within 60 working days ( hope this is true ! ). Plus there is a cancellation fee of P1,500.00. I hope this refund process wouldn't be as stressful as my yaya's struggle to get her passport.

Yaya's Passport Issue - An update . . .

For the record, yaya won't be coming with us anymore. The passport was fixed already about two weeks ago. The old picture of yaya was placed back on her passport. But the issue now is that ex-husband doesn't want to give the passport back to her. There were several meetings but our yaya failed to get her passport back. There was even an instance that the ex-husband was asking for P4,000 for the expenses he incurred. Hello! It was his fault in the first place. When yaya finally decided to pay the P4k the ex-husband changed his mind. He wouldn't accept her payment. What he wanted was to get her allotment back. Of course our yaya wouldn't do it. She wouldn't give that huge amount of money for her passport. She'll just process a new one for her.

We just pity her because it was really stressful for her plus all the travel and meal expenses she incurred everytime they would meet up. We really wanted her to come with us. Anyway, she was asking when will be our next trip. Hubby would jokingly tell her that it will be in Singapore next month . . . he he he . . . still not enough time to get her a new passport.

A New Digicam

Last week, we decided to get a new digicam for us in time for our HK trip this week. Though this is not that high end this one is definitely better than our previous camera. What's more is we were able to get a 4GB memory stick and a casing along with the camera. Not a bad deal at all.

Debt Consolidation . . .

The various loans that most companies are offering nowadays are very easy to avail. The loan applicant needs only to fill-up the application and it will be approved instantly. No wonder the ordinary employee has fallen into the trap of acquiring a new loan to pay partial of the previous loans until he has numerous loans which is difficult to handle. He only thinks of having money to tide him over the next due date. With this scenario, someone needs to have a debt consolidation. This is an effective way to battle your way to your financial shape. The several loans that you have acquired only mean that you have different amount due, interest rates and due date. With debt consolidation, everything will be gathered to one billing. This means financial freedom wherein you have only a minimal amount compared to the amount you are paying to the various loans you have applied. This means a lot of savings because the amount you are paying is the amount that suits your budget, which the excess can be used to more beneficial undertakings. This can also save you from being blacklisted with other financial institutions which you might fail to settle in due time. It will be a big help for you because it can give you immediate liquidity that can give you a better credit line to other financial institution. There won’t be a feeling of beating the amount due or the due date of a loan. It will be all compiled and billed by one company for easy settlement.

How do we celebrate Valentine's Day ?

It's happy hearts day today! Flowers and chocolates are everywhere. Hotels and restaurants are fully booked. Traffic is terrible. Long ques in the counter. This is a typical scene during Valentine's Day.

I already received my bouquet of roses from hubby this morning around 10am. I got a call from our receptionist that I have flowers in the lobby. As expected, it's a bouquet of white roses. Just as I got back in my seat hubby called me. He didn't know that the flowers were already delivered. So I thanked him and we talked about our plans later.

We usually just go to a mall and find a resto that can accomodate us. But for today, he suggested that we just go home early and he'll just buy a special dinner for us. I on the otherhand, will buy the little girl her own flowers and the little boy some chocolates. I'm excited because it'll be our first time to celebrate Valentine's day with the kids. I wonder what will be hubby's reaction by that time when our little girl will be receiving flowers from admirers and the little boy will be giving chocolates to his ladylove. Ummm . . . just thinking . . .
