Medical Results

We've just had our annual physical exam last week. During the exam, I found out that I'm not a 20/20 anymore. Blame it on E,P and F. he he he . . . I'm a 25/20 already. I hope it won't get worse. I really admire my grandmother who can still read the newspaper without eyeglasses at the age of 89. Then last Wednesday I got an email from our company nurse that I need to go to the clinic for medical consultation with our doctor. Hmmm? What could it be? Though I'm working on an urgent project, I took the time to visit the clinic because I can't stop thinking of what could be my condition that needs medical consultation. Well, my guess is right. It's UTI again. The doctor prescribed an antibiotic to be taken for a week then I need to have my urinalysis again after a week. It's Friday already and I haven't bought the medicine since I'm always out for overtime.

I'm not sure if there's an available online pharmacy here like MagicXPharmacy. It's an online pharmacy where you could buy medicines 24/7 without taking long queues and prescription. Ordering is very easy. One has to pick up the drug needed, answer a questionnaire and send the order. It will be reviewed by their licensed physicians and they'll issue the prescription needed. Then their licensed pharmacists will dispense the medicine and have it delivered through Fedex the following day. Payments are made through credit cards. No hassle!

Their medicines ranges from anti-depressants, anti-parasitic, antibiotics, birth control, pain relievers and a lot more. So the next time you have joint pains or migraine attack you can buy tramadol online or fioricet for that matter.

Good Job ! ! !

After all the difficulties and overtimes needed, finally, I'm done with the report needed by the region ! ! ! At least I got a "good job" comment from the bosses in the region including the Finance CEO for Asia Pacific. Well, now I'm back into blogging! I have so many backlogs especially on the tags. I'm not even done with my HK stories. It's almost a month that has passed already. Plenty of tasks has expired. Sayang ang kita! ! ! :)

Anyway, I hope no new projects first so that I can update all my blogging backlogs.

Thanks a lot to all of you who keeps on visiting my site. I'll try to update all the tags and do "real" blogs about me and my family.

Shoot that ball . . .

Just a side kwento from our weekend get-away last week. When we were in the play area, I got hold of a ball and started to play with it. When hubby saw me, he jokingly said, "pag na-shoot mo yan bibigyan kita ng P1,000.00". He was not even finished with his sentence when I threw out the ball. Guess what? The ball got into the ring! ! ! As in sobrang asintado. We were surprised and I was laughing out loud because hubby was thinking that I won't be able to do it that's why his bet was high. I was about two meters away from the ring and the ball was so small. Anyway, naaliw lang talaga kami. And before I forget, hubby still owes me that P1,000.00. he he he . . .

Early Christmas Celebration

In previous years, we would normally spend the 25th with my relatives (father side) in Cavite. This year, we were there on the 24th as the 25th was reserved by my relatives (mother side) in Pasig since my cousins working abroad are all here for the first time altogether after so many years.

On the morning of the 24th, we were fetched by my parents going to Cavite. We were expected to be there before lunch. Thank God for the Daang Hari road. Our usual travel time ( Carmona-Dasma-Imus-Bacoor) was reduced to half. We were just in time for lunch. Our meals include kare-kare, camaron and other seafood specialties of my tita. In the family, she's the one who can really cook well. Name it and she can do it. Desserts include fruit / buco salad and ube halaya. We were so full after the sumptuous meal.

After lunch, we already distributed our gifts for our inaanaks and the kids received a lot of gifts as well from my cousins and their children. At the same time, they were preparing the names for our yearly kris kringle during the new year celebration. I asked hubby if we will join because I'm not sure if we will be spending the New Year there. He said we'll join the kris kringle.

For merienda, they bought a special bibingka and we ate some of the desserts during lunch as well. After merienda, we were already off going home as we still need to prepare the noche buena. My dad was asking if we were still coming home with them but we beg off since we don't have much time already to prepare the food for noche buena.

At home, Philip started to prepare the spaghetti sauce right away. I also asked my yaya to prepare the ingredients for the chicken-macaroni salad that I'll be preparing. While they were in the kitchen the lolo and lola asked the kids to open the gifts already. I stressed that not all the gifts will be opened. They just wanted to see if the gifts would fit well with the kids. Obviously their gifts are clothes for the kids. It was a red (San Beda) jacket for JM and a pink dress for Kaila. Picture taking followed.

As usual, Kaila took the centerstage again. She willingly posed for the picture taking. A model in the making yata ang anak ko. At least marami ng career na pagpipilian. From videoke queen to a fashion model. JM on the otherhand is very difficult to handle during picture taking. It's either wala sya sa picture or paalis sya from the scene. Di mapirmi sa isang lugar!

When my parents and siblings have left, we started to fix the house. Clean up a little bit. Prepare the stuffs for the noche buena. In time, we were already preparing ourselves for the evening mass. JM was already sleepy so I told hubby that we'll just leave JM because it will be difficult for him to come and I'm sure that we will be standing the whole time during the mass. At first, he was hesitant to leave JM but when he saw JM peacefully sleeping he just asked our yaya to be with JM. It was only me, Philip and Kaila who went to hear the mass.

Kaila was such a good girl during the entire celebration. I know she's very tired and sleepy as well but these were overcomed of her excitement to open her gifts including the one from Santa. After the celebration, we went straight home and JM was in deep sleep already. I asked hubby if we would wake him up but he said just to let JM sleep because we would have a hard time to put him back to sleep.

Philip and I were in the kitchen preparing our food. We have yet to put the gift of Santa. Our meal includes spaghetti, chicken-macaroni salad, ham, cheese and lots of chocolates! While Kaila's eating, I sneaked out for a while to put Santa's gift on the tree.

After our meal, we went back to the sala to open our gifts. Kaila was very delighted to see Santa's gift. It was a Disney Princess rubber shoes ( just what she requested ). She opened the other gifts mostly school stuffs since they know that Kaila will be going to school already this year. JM was not able to open his gifts. Of course the finale would be our exchange of gifts. I was able to surprise hubby with my gift although he has it on his guesses. It was a Carolina Herrera for Men Classic perfume gift set. Hubby's gift for me on the other hand was an Anne Klein wrist watch.

More than the gifts, we are very happy spending Christmas at home with a complete and healthy family.

Looking forward to the long holidays . . .

Yipee! It's the last day of work for 2007. We ended up eating our lunch at 1:30pm. What a way to end the year! We're supposed to have a short meeting with our Finance Director at around 11:30am but the meeting went on and on and on . . .

Anyway, it's the last day of work so right after the meeting we had our lunch ( a take out from yellow cab ). My other officemates went ahead of us in yellow cab but we ended up eating our lunch here in the office. We just went out to have our coffee in Starbucks after since most of them are completing their stickers for the 2008 planner.

I still have a few more issues to settle but I can't focus on work anymore! Let's reserve all of these for January 2008 . . .

Happy holidays to all of you! Looking forward to a better year in 2008.

Shopping Update . . .

Last Saturday, hubby and I went to Greenhills for our last batch of Christmas shopping ( so, I thought ). We arrived there just in time for the afternoon mass so we were very hungry already after the mass. We ate in RACKS ( yummy, yummy, yummy ! ! ! ) my favorite baby back ribs. We headed in the tiangge right after we had our lunch. We bought the gift for my nephew and some of Philip's inaanaks. Then we bought clothes for the kids and a new jeans and blouse for me.

After Greenhills, we went to Glorietta. We went to Toy Kingdom to look for "Santa's gift" for JM. We can't think of any other toy but a remote controlled car. For Kaila, it's a Disney Princess rubber shoes. That's what she's asking Santa. After the quick shopping in Glorietta, we went home already. It was another tiring day but I enjoyed it.

Just a trivia . . .

Tomorrow, November 30th, is a non-working holiday cause it's Bonifacio Day so it's going to be a long weekend. Do you know that it's our 11th year anniversary as a couple tomorrow? Yes, you heard it right! 11 years of togetherness already.

Next month, on the very same date, 30th of December, we will be celebrating our 4th year anniversary as husband and wife. It is a non-working holiday as well. This time it's Rizal Day. What a coincidence! Same date and both are holidays in commemoration of our two national heroes.

A productive day . . .

I was on leave yesterday for a check-up in Asian Hospital. I had this "mass" in my upper left chest way back in college. Medyo namaga lang sya this past week that's why kinulit ako ni hubby na ipatingin na. When my mom saw it as well sabi rin nya ipatingin ko na rin daw. So, I took a leave the whole day while hubby reported to work. So, iintayin ko pa sya matapos with his stuffs sa office.

Early morning, I went to this school near our place to check if it's within our standard of a pre-school for Kaila. We've had our rounds about two months ago with some of the schools and none of them passed our standard. Actually, hubby wants to enroll Kaila in CSA but I told him not in her pre-school years since she'll be travelling from Cabuyao to San Pedro. I think that would be too much for a three year old kid. So basically, I want a pre-school just within our area.

So I went to this school ( St. John's Wort Montessori ) and inquired of their pre-school program. The school is just 5 to 10 minutes from our place. I was accommodated by teacher Riza. I asked all the questions and concerns I have in mind at that time. I also took a peek in their kinder and prep classes at that time. I can say that I'm quite satisfied and excited at the same time. Though we are still on debate when Kaila will start schooling. Personally, I want her to start by January so that she'll have a feel of it by June. My parents wouldn't want her to go to school yet because JM will be left out at home. But I this is my concern as well. I even asked if they would accept a 2 year old in their nursery class so that Kai and JM can go to school together. They said that it's too early for a two year old. They can consider a 2.5 year old though. Let's just see what will happen by then. At least I have already chosen a school for the kids already. I'll just bring Philip and the kids the next time I visit the place so that they can sit in in their class.

After the school, I went to LTO BiƱan to get my student permit. I was supposed to have my driving lessons in A1 last September but I couldn't sqeeze it in my schedule. It took me about two hours to have my student permit since a lot were applying for their licenses. Anyway, at least I have it right now so what I have to do next is have my schedule with A1. I just don't know when will I be able to have it. Hopefully I can schedule it and finish the 10 hours within 2007. Para naman may accomplishment ako for myself this year. :)

After LTO, I dropped by in Jollibee Olivarez to buy some lunch. Philip texted me that he still has to finish some work so he asked me to buy my lunch because he knows that I'm hungry already. Ayaw nya magutom ako at baka mag-away lang kami. Weakness yata naming dalawa ang magutom. :) Pareho kaming nag-iinit ang ulo kapag gutom na.

So I was in his office just in time for lunch time. I ate my food already because I am really hungry. Philip was still working at that time. Just before 1pm we were able to leave and head for Asian Hospital in Alabang. We were lucky that there was no traffic that time. We were there in just 15 minutes.

We went straight to the HMO coordinator since I will be using my company health card. I asked for the accredited surgeon and it's Dr. Pagdanganan. His schedule is at 3pm. So we still have more than an hour of waiting time. Philip asked me if I wanted to go to Festival Mall first but I declined. I'm so tired already for the past days due to my work load. We just waited in the waiting area of the fifth floor while watching a movie in HBO channel.

It was past 3pm and the doctor is not yet in. I went to the clinic and check with the coordinator and she said that he's on his way already. Around 3:20 pm the coordinator already called me. In the clinic was a lady doctor. I thought Ernest Padanganan was a "he". Medyo naconfuse tuloy ako. Then she explained that Dr. Pagdanganan is out for a convention so she's taking his place for awhile.

She started to ask me of my condition why I'm seeking for a consultation. I showed to her the "mass" in my upper left chest. It's like a big pimple na super namamaga na medyo red na nagviviolet yung ibang area. The last time kasi na namaga sya ng husto was in June 2003 while I was on vacation in Canada kaya memorable sya. The doctor immediately knew what it was. She calls my condition as "sebaceous cyst". Nothing serious and nothing to worry about. The sebaceous gland was blocked that's why there's a mass formation already. It will be my call if I'll have it operated or not. Syempre I asked if it will have a scar. She assured me na parang line lang naman daw. Di naman ako keloidal eh so minimal lang daw yung magiging mark.

Hubby asked yung procedure for the operation. It will just be a 30-minute out patient operation. Pero natatakot pa rin ako. Sabi ko nga kay hubby mas gusto ko pa manganak na lang ulit ako kesa magpa-opera. But since namamaga pa yung mass she prescribed an antibiotic kasi di sya pwede operahan ng ganun. Healing will take longer daw pag ganun. So I just have to go back pag wala na yung maga. Hopefully by next week ok na sya. Right now kasi magang-maga pa rin. Parang walang effect yung antibiotic. Although nung last time na namaga sya eh wala naman akong ginawa. Kusa lang na nawala. Yun nga daw yung risk or disadvantage kung di ako magpapaopera. It will be recurring.

After the consultation, we went to Festival for a snack. Hubby will treat me daw kasi masaya sya at nothing serious yung condition ko. We just ate pasta and pizza sa Sbarro. We went around sandali but hubby needs to go back to work. Medyo critical kasi since nasa transition phase sila from EPCI to BDO kaya maya't maya may tumatawag sa kanya. Sabi ko iwan na lang ako to buy some stuffs for the kids.

I went around for a while but I went home din around 6pm. Hay, at least marami akong na-accomplish that day. Thank God that I'm ok and healthy.
